PYO Concerto Competition

Each year the PYO holds a concerto competition, open to all members. Applicants compete for the opportunity to perform their piece with the Peninsula Youth Orchestra at the spring concert.

 

Eligibility:

• Member of the PYO or the PYO Sinfonia in good standing. String, woodwind, brass, and percussion students may enter.

• Music approval by PYO Conductor

• Completed application form.

• Members are not eligible to audition if they won the competition the previous year

There are two divisions:

Junior Division - for students in the PYO Sinfonia

Senior Division - for students in the PYO
